The first batch of Australia’s Novavax coronavirus vaccine has arrived Down Under with the federal government hopeful some vaccine-hesitant Australians will roll up their sleeves for the jab.
Novavax, which is Australia’s fourth vaccine to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, will be rolled out at GPs, pharmacies and state-run vaccination hubs across the nation from February 21.

Try 1 month free now"Subject to successful batch testing, the Novavax vaccine will be available to be administered," Health Minister Greg Hunt said. "For some who may have had contraindications or reactions with regards to other vaccines, this will provide an additional opportunity for them, as well as those who for whatever reason have not taken up the program so far," Mr Hunt said.
