Businessman John Berylson, the owner and chairman of English soccer club Millwall FC for over a decade, died Tuesday when he lost control of his SUV and struck a tree in Massachusetts.
The crash happened before 8 a.m. as Berylson drove his 2019 Range Rover on a curved road and rolled into a ravine,Berylson was trapped in the overturned vehicle and died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
“I feel so desperately sad for John’s family and our thoughts and prayers are with them at what is just such a devastatingly cruel time.” Berylson was praised for reveling in Millwall’s “underdog status and mentality” as well as his close relationship with its supporters.told talkSport
