Former NSW Labor minister Milton Orkopoulos is facing new sexual assault and drug offences related to an investigation into his conduct in the 1990s.
He was released on parole last year after serving 11 years in jailOrkopoulos has previously served 11 years in prison after he was convicted of 30 child sex and drugs charges.
It is expected at that appearance on Wednesday Orkopoulos will be charged with another eight offences. The charges stem from an investigation by detectives from taskforce Glenwarrie, which was established to investigate historical indecent and sexual assault offences committed in the 1990s. He met his victims through circumstances including Labor functions or work experience in his electoral office.
