Joan Mir admits he is 'scared' of repeating the same failures as Jorge Lorenzo and Pol Espargaro at Honda, having made a nightmare start to the 2023 MotoGP season.
Pedrosa’s final year was his first winless one in MotoGP, while Lorenzo’s MotoGP career was effectively ended by the woes he suffered at Honda. Alex Marquez has since departed to Gresini Ducati having struggled at LCR Honda over the last two years.
“My motivation is to win races, to make podiums, be in the top group, this is what gives me the fuel for it. It’s a long time that I don’t have this fuel.” “What I want to do, I can’t do it,” he explained. “I think at the moment the team doesn’t understand what I need to be strong.
