Ms McPherson previously told Adelaide radio station FIVEaa that her Scottish-American father, who was aged in his 80s and used a wheelchair, had been a Hawaiian resident for more than 30 years. "He's been in and out of hospital, so he's not been able to get out of his unit unless he's taken by ambulance," Ms McPherson told the radio station on Tuesday.
