A missing pensioner, believed to have boarded a train out of Glasgow Central Station, has sparked a police investigation.

Patrick Harvey has been reported missing from Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire. The 69-year-old was last seen at around 10pm Saturday. He is described as being six feet, one inch tall with greying hair. When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and grey trainers. It is believed Patrick was at Glasgow Central Station at around 9.30am on Sunday 3, boarding a train to Blackpool. Police urge anyone with information that could help trace the missing OAP to come forward.A Lanarkshire Police Division spokesperson said: "We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace 69-year-old Patrick Harvey who has been reported missing from Kilsyth area of Lanarkshire.

"It is believed Patrick was at Glasgow Central Train Station about 9.30am, Sunday, July 3 when he boarded a train to Blackpool. Anyone who may have seen Patrick since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 1051 of July 4.
