The Dead Reckoning sequel has been delayed nearly a full year.
We might have to wait a while longer to see if Ethan Hunt accepts his next mission. On Monday, it was announced that Paramount and Skydance have made the decision to delay the next Mission: Impossible movie from its planned release date of June 28, 2024, to a new date of May 23, 2025. The film will reportedly not be released under its previously-announced title of Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part Two, and a new title is set to be announced at a later date.
What Is Mission: Impossible 8 About?Mission: Impossible 8 is expected to continue the narrative of 2023's Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One, which saw Ethan Hunt face off against one of his most personal enemies yet.
