With stans hounding Rihanna for new music, she said she could get down with a collaboration with Lizzo -- which is now a Missy Elliott-approved idea.
before her Savage x Fenty show, Rihanna gushed about the “Truth Hurts” superstar. “I’ll collaborate with her on the lights for this interview right now,” she joked. “Lizzo is so badass, and she’s everything that Savage stands for.”
Lizzo heard the message loud and clear, tweeting in all-caps, “I WOULD SING THE BASS DRUM IN A RIHANNA FART JUST TO MAKE THIS COLLAB HAPPEN.” Elliott jumped in on the black girl magic with her approval, commenting “that would be” with a fire emoji and calling RiRi and Lizzo “two talented ppl.” Fans caught the interaction and pleaded with the rapper to be the third talented person in the mix. One Twitter user asked, “And so Missy’s producing and on the remix RIGHT!? Then she can direct the video please and thank you.”
