, with the company stating their Model PD has 384 horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque. That’s equivalent to a civilian Long Range trim with dual motors and all-wheel drive.
Tesla says this model is good for 497 kilometres on a full charge; we’re sure the comments will be full of people pointing out that bad guys will only need travel 500 kilometres to escape their pursuers before this cop car runs out of juice. There’s enough fodder there for a whole ‘nuther article — but suffice it to say that gasoline-powered cop cars will also run out of fuel eventually.to drop since they also plan to cop-ify that model once it starts making its way into customer hands.
