Horrifying moment parachute jumper is killed after losing control during jump
A LEADING Russian acrobatic parachutist was tragically killed after losing control during a jump.
Distressing video footage shows Sergey Buyvol, 41, hitting the ground too hard at high speed during a descent in the Omsk region.Sergey died on the spot after hitting the ground at "full speed"Denis Kobrikov, an instructor at Omsk aviation sports club DOSAAF, said: "The athlete had a fully functional parachute and huge experience in jumping.“Perhaps he was working out some kind of manoeuvre, but something went wrong.
In the horrifying video, he can be seen rolling into his red parachute after hitting the ground with extreme force.Earlier videos shows the ex-traffic policeman successfully completing his 1,000th parachute jump in 2019.
The same year, Sergey won third place in the Russian parachuting championship for big formation group acrobatics. Acrobatic parachutists enjoy jumping from a plane and performing various gymnastic manoeuvres, before pulling the parachute cord.6
