A glimpse at Moon Knight's ultimate potential.

But after being drawn into Agatha Harkness's "Contest of Chaos," a brush with her chaotic power unlocks his ultimate personality as a deity in his own right: Spector, God of the Moon.
Jed MacKay, Creees Lee, Arif Prianto, and Cory Petit's Moon Knight Annual #1 sees Agatha Harkness collecting champions by pitting various Marvel heroes against each other. This time, it is Moon Knight and Taegukgi's turn; drawn into New Jersey's Pine Barrens, the two are compelled to fight for possession of the magical chaos crystals that litter their arena. However, the fight takes a turn when the crystals unleash their powers upon the two heroes.
Exposed to chaos magic, Moon Knight and Taegukgi's battle turns rapidly as the two are transformed into a procession of alternate versions of themselves, ending with the two of them at the height of their powers: Taegukgi as the incarnation of the Psylot Crystal that empowered him and Moon Knight as "Spector, God of the Moon.
Spector, God of the Moon, appears to distill all of Moon Knight's desires into an idealized self. Having killed Khonshu, Spector is no longer beholden to the god's mercurial whims while also taking Khonshu's mystical might as his own. In his banter with Taegukgi, Spector explains that "[he] may once have been a man...but now [he is] a god," suggesting that the mortal alters of Marc, Steven, and Jake have been left behind. His costume blends the attire of Moon Knight, Mr.
Moon Knight's Ultimate Form The transformation into Spector doesn't last; after one last godlike clash, Moon Knight and Taegukgi are returned to their original selves. Still, this form provides a tantalizing glimpse of Moon Knight's potential, taking his most powerful alters and combining them into one. Moon Knight may live his life under the whims of Khonshu, but the shadow of this new ultimate form serves as a reminder of his true buried strength.
