Ex-boyfriend/suspect was driving a borrowed black Ford Explorer the night he drove to Pioneer.
More clues could be out there in the case of Alexis Gabe, the missing 24-year-old Oakley woman, and her family is asking for volunteers to help search this weekend.
A search for missing Oakley woman Alexis Gabe, 24, now includes a $100,000 reward for information that helps authorities find her. Jones, whom police believe killed Alexis, was fatally shot last month when Washington police tried to arrest him and he lunged at them with a knife in a Seattle suburb. He had returned to Washington following Alexis’ disappearance but not before visiting his sister in Vacaville and driving up to Pioneer, where police believe he might have tried to dispose of his ex-girlfriend’s body on Jan. 28.
The Oakley police chief said his department supports the Gabe family and volunteers helping them and will assist with additional searches this weekend.
