The number of Republicans who say they are more enthusiastic about voting in this year's midterm elections has also increased.
/YouGov was conducted from August 13 to 16 with 1,500 adults and found that 23 percent of Republicans had a somewhat favorable opinion of Trump, while 17 percent said their opinion was either somewhat or very unfavorable and 3 percent didn't know.
In what may be a key finding, the poll showed that the share of Republicans who said they were more enthusiastic about voting in this year's midterms elections had also increased during the same period. In the August 7 to 9 poll, that figure had stood at 45 percent - representing a positive shift of six points.
