Storms on Wednesday caused flash flooding in parts of northwest Alabama and knocked down a few trees and generated hail reports for other parts of north and central Alabama.Rain and storms will be possible throughout the day today, but the best time for stronger storms to develop will be this afternoon into the evening hours.
