Ron Weasley dreamed of standing out against his siblings and famous best friend, and his Harry Potter ending proved he did—just in a different way.
Ron Weasley feared being seen as nothing more than the best friend of the Boy Who Lived in Harry Potter, but his life after the events of the Second Wizarding War proved he became far more.
Ron Weasley Skipped His Seventh Year At Hogwarts After Harry Potter Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows should have been Harry, Ron, and Hermione's seventh and final year at Hogwarts. However, since Voldemort had taken complete control of the Ministry of Magic , they didn't return to school. Of course, Hermione, as a Muggle-born, and Harry, as Undesirable No. 1, wouldn't have been welcomed anyway.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Quidditch Through the Ages revealed that Ron walked away from his job at the Ministry after only two years. It could be that, after dealing so much with Dark wizards during his school years, Ron decided he was ready to focus on other things. Or, as Harry worked his way up to becoming Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, his best friend might have started to feel even more stuck in the Boy Who Lived's shadow.
Quidditch Through the Ages revealed that after Ron left his job as an Auror, he began working with George at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. This is a heartwarming thought, especially given Ron's relationship with his older brothers throughout the Harry Potter series. As big brothers often did, Fred and George always gave Ron a hard time, and that didn't stop once they had opened their joke shop. Still, this didn't change the fact that they were brothers and loved each other.
