The number of triple-vaccinated Victorians has spiked after a weekend blitz, coming as the state recorded its deadliest day in more than 15 months.

The state’s booster rate has also spiked by two per cent, increasing from 32 per cent to 34 per cent in the past 24 hours.

The new figures come after presentations to the emergency department dropped by 23 per cent in the past week with Covid-related hospitalisations stabilising, but the state government hasMeanwhile, Victorian schools may be forced to stagger drop-off and pick-up times and set up several exits around school sites, in a major overhaul that would limit the spread of Covid.
