"It's not all of the brands, but some of the brands have figured out their inventory and supply chain issues better than others," said Joseph Yoon, consumer insights analyst with Edmunds."I think that's where the improvement—or the jump in sales—is coming from at the moment."
"So that's a part of the reason why, despite customers maybe being able to see some discounts, the cost of the vehicles haven't really gone down," Yoon said.
