Retirees gaining the PM's attention as the Opposition Leader takes his campaign to a Liberal-stronghold in its bid to form government.

The PM's Liberal seat sand-bagging effort moved south from Melbourne's leafy eastern suburbs to the coastal electorate of Corangamite.

But Scott Morrison had little time for the seat's younger coastal voters, who are likely to determine the outcome of the seat, spending his day shoring up support among the heartland. Mr Shorten, when faced with offering the same guarantee, would only say Labor had"no plans to increase taxes on superannuation".
