South Australian leaders have met to address the rising death toll on the state's roads, after the deaths of more than 30 people this year.
The roundtable, which was hosted by the Royal Automobile Association discussed reducing road trauma, vulnerable road users, regional roads and dangerous behaviour behind the wheel.

"It cannot just be the sole responsibility of the government or of other groups who are particularly interested in road safety," Emergency Services Minister Dan Cregan said.When do cyclists have to give way to pedestrians?"The challenge for us is to do much better than that - both in serious injuries and fatalities on our road network," the RAA's Charles Mountain said.
