Motorcyclist injured in head-on crash in East County [Breaking]

A motorcycle rider was hospitalized after colliding with an SUV on state Route 94 between Jamul and Dulzura in East County on Sunday, the California Highway Patrol said.

The collision happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. near Otay Lakes Road when the motorcyclist passed over the yellow line and struck a Ford F150 head on, a CHP incident log reported.
