Kirkham Road in Freckleton closed after biker suffers serious injuries in crash
Police and paramedics were called to Kirkham Road in Freckleton at around 9.25am this morning . The road has been shut in both directions between Hillock Lane to Lower Lane.
Lancashire Constabulary said the collision involved a between a car and a motorcyclist. The bike rider has suffered a 'serious leg injury'.North West Ambulance Service has been contacted for further details. The incident is causing delays in the area and motorists are being advised to use alternative routes.
A police spokesperson told LancsLive: "We were called around 9.25am today to a report of a collision involving a car and motorcyclist in Kirkham Road, Freckleton. Emergency services attended the scene with the motorcyclist suffering a serious leg injury.Traffic alert service Inrix reports: "Kirkham Road in both directions closed, slow traffic due to accident from Hillock Lane to Lower Lane.
