“It took a long time to scour the nation. Our amazing animal department looked everywhere and found Squid in regional Victoria.”“We knew from the book that the dog had to be a particular size to work with a young child,” she says. “And had to be, as Craig wrote in the book, this indiscriminate, one-of-a-kind terrier.
“So Squid needed a home that was busy, could occupy her mind and also give her the ability to relax. She needed to be able to calm herself.”
