Disney+'s upcoming MCU show MsMarvel has cast Bollywood star Farhan Akhtar in a guest role.
Bollywood actor/singer Farhan Akhtar has been added to the cast of Ms. Marvel, the newest Marvel Cinematic Universe series coming to Disney+. The show will focus on Kamala Khan, played by MCU newcomer Iman Vellani. Khan is a Muslim, Pakistani-American high schooler who lives in Jersey City. A dreamer who is obsessed with superheroes , Khan comes across the opportunity to become one herself when she gains cosmic powers. Although this is everything she's ever wanted, the new Ms.
Ms. Marvel's cast has continued to grow over the past year, and it looks like it has just cast another character. Deadline has reported that Akhtar, known for his work in Hindi films, has joined the cast of Ms. Marvel. It was not revealed who his character is, although his involvement has been described as a guest-starring part.Ms. Marvel will also star Saagar Shaikh as Kamala's older brother Amir, Matt Lintz as her friend Bruno Carrelli, and Aramis Knight as the vigilante Red Dagger.
