Six people have been arrested following the shooting of former Mongols bikie Sam Abdulrahim in Fawkner two months ago. 7NEWS
Now, police have arrested six people in relation to the attack, executing warrants on Monday morning in Epping, Lalor, Craigieburn, Meadow Heights, Docklands and Greenvale.
Detective Inspector Mark Hatt said those arrested held coordination roles and assisted the two men who shot Abdulrahim, however he revealed that the primary offenders fled Victoria within 48 hours of the crime. While the arrests were the result of a two-month investigation, Hatt said inquires surrounding the incident were far from over.
“I want to assure people that police are doing everything we can to hold all of those involved in this incident to account, no matter what role they may have played.
