Kirsty Black is marking an “emotional but magical” milestone for her daughter Ayla’s first birthday, after her twin sister Ava died at just five days old.
“It is also a happy first birthday in the sky to my angel, I know she is looked after and loved up there.“Ava has sent down all the strength for her mummy and daddy and forever.We previously reported how Kirsty went into labour with her twins at 25 weeks after suffering sudden intense pains at home. Devastated Kirsty had to make the painful decision to ‘let her go’ at just five days old as she became ‘completely brain damaged’.Ayla was sent home on oxygen which she has finally been able to cope without since October.
