Felicity struggled to complete her rowing shifts without needing the toilet, and when she returned home, she was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer. After finishing her treatment she is now cancer-free and looking forward to the future.
POSITIVE MINDSET: Felicity Ashley's symptoms started during a rowing adventure across the Atlantic Ocean
Felicity, a former head of marketing, rowed 3,000 miles from the Canaries to Antigua, but she began to experience problems and frequently needed to use the toilet. After returning home in April 2022, she noticed blood in her stool and was referred for a colonoscopy after visiting her GP.
