Julie Nelson said her 16-year-old son TJ, who has autism, has become ‘distressed’
A teenager in West Lothian will ‘lose his independence’ when McGill’s axe a crucial bus service, his mum has said.
Julie explained: “My son is 16 and autistic. We live in Polbeth, and he visits his girlfriend in Livingston most days. He has waited at the bus station for up to two hours on occasion, with no buses despite them being scheduled. This leaves him distressed and deflated. The bus service in rural areas of West Lothian came under fire after McGill’s took over the service in late 2022.
