A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a woman in Co Armagh. Police Service of Northern Ireland Officers remain at the scene, in the Silverwood Green area of Lurgan, this morning .

The suspect is in his 30s. No details about the dead woman have been released at this stage. Police Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon tweeted of the man's arrest - and said officers are still at the scene of the "suspicious death of a woman". They add that enquiries will be continuing and an update will become available in due course. In a statement issued in the early hours of this morning a PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are currently at the scene of a suspicious death of woman in he Silverwood Green area of Lurgan.

"One man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murder. . An update will follow in due course." Silverwood Green is a small residential close, on the northern edge of Lurgan. It is close to the M1 and Lough Neah.
