A man has been charged with murder after a wanted father-of-two was allegedly struck by a car and killed south-east of Melbourne. Luke Price, 34, died after he was hit by a car travelling on Heads Roads in Yannathan, near Lang Lang, just after midnight yesterday.
Police told 9News Mr Price stepped out onto the road away from his black Holden Cruze, when he was allegedly struck by a Holden Colorado.The car dragged the victim a short distance, before taking off and then stopping 250 metres down the road. 9News understands a warrant was released for Mr Price's arrest yesterday after he allegedly breached parole.Homicide Squad investigate the fatal incident in Yannathan. The grieving family of Mr Price returned to the scene of his death, telling 9News the father "never deserved to die like this".
