The High Court in Stirling heard how Claire Inglis had more than 76 injuries - including bleeding inside her skull and extensive injuries to her neck. Christopher McGowan denies murdering her.

A woman found dead in her flat after paramedics arrived to shouts of “murder” had more than 76 injuries to her body, including bleeding inside her skull and extensive injuries to her neck, a jury heard.

These included blunt force injuries to her head and face, including tiny “dot areas” on her cheek which could have been caused, among other explanations, by “something pointed”.
