Sky News contributor Caleb Bond says Agriculture Minister Murray Watt has been “totally MIA” on preventing foot and mouth disease from entering Australia.
“We’ve been talking about this since May, it’s not like they haven’t had time to do something about it,” he said.
“We’re going to have these biosecurity zones at the airport so we can compel you to walk through these citric acid mats – should’ve done it weeks ago. “There is just no regard at all for the agriculture sector because Murray Watt does not understand it.”
