Sean 'Diddy' Combs, one of the most influential producers in the music business, was arrested on Monday night in the lobby of a Manhattan hotel in the wake of ongoing federal lawsuits filed by multiple musicians.

Combs' lawyer Marc Agnifilo said the musician voluntarily shifted to New York in anticipation of the charges and"looks forward to clearing his name in court". The singer, whose real name is Cassandra Ventura, filed an explosive lawsuit against Combs on November 16, 2023, accusing him of years of rape and abuse.
"It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that," the rapper said in his video statement.
