Musk ox killed in Kotzebue after posing threat to residents, troopers say

The animal has been processed, and the meat will be donated to residents at Utuqqanaat Inaat, Maniilaq Association’s long-term care facility.

Troopers dispatched the animal at the request of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Dougherty said.
