NBA: Ben Simmons has sent a warning shot to the NBA after dropping a near triple-double in his debut for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Average of 9 LIVE Regular Season games per week plus the best of the NBA Playoffs, including every game of the NBA Conference Finals & NBA Finals LIVE on ESPN, available via Kayo New to Kayo?Simmons very much impressed in his first outing for the Clippers in a 120-116 overtime win in Utah against the Jazz on Friday . The Aussie racked up 12 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals in 27 minutes off the bench.

Simmons was among the first of the Clippers’ reserves to enter the game with just under five minutes left in the first term, replacing Zubac as the defacto five. But the Clippers, down 50-30 at one stage in the second term, closed out the half on a 24-10 run to make it a six-point game at the main break.LA really took control in the fourth quarter, which it won 22-13, before Powell scored nine of his 41 points in overtime to steer the visitors to victory.

Exum, who only recently returned to the court after undergoing wrist surgery that sidelined him for most of the regular season, has been highly productive and making the most of his increased playing time after the Luka Doncic trade. “… Since he’s been back, I think we’ve been playing faster. Obviously his unselfishness but also the ball touching the paint and for him to be able to finish and take those layups it then makes the game easier for everybody else. We missed that… and we need to keep him on the floor.”Meanwhile, the short-handed Minnesota Timberwolves halted Oklahoma City’s seven-game NBA winning streak, beating the Western Conference-leading Thunder 116-101.

Oklahoma City’s MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 24 points, ending his streak of 25-point games at 22.
