Investigators believe a gold Ford Falcon sedan was travelling west along Princes Highway at Cabbage Tree Creek at about 4 am on Sunday morning.
The driver lost control of the car, possibly after hitting something, and the car left the road and crashed into a concrete culvert.A car burst into flames after crashing at Cabbage Tree Creek in eastern Victoria. The sedan rolled onto its roof, but police believe the driver managed to get out of the car and leave before it caught fire.The car was not registered and didn't have any licence plates.Anybody with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
