Police will investigate whether a young woman who died on the side of a major Queensland Hwy jumped from a moving vehicle.
Courtney Paige Anderson, 28, was travelling along the Bruce Hwy in Bajool, south of Rockhampton, with her 35-year-old partner on Easter Monday when the “unexpected and sudden” incident occurred.Courtney Paige Anderson, 28, has been identified as the woman killed on the Bruce Hwy.
“We still don’t have anyone who’s contacted us, who’s sighted the vehicle driving Monday afternoon,” he said according to The Morning Bulletin.“She sustained catastrophic injuries and she lost her life but I won’t comment at this point in time about how those injuries were sustained,” he said. “There are some previously reported incidents but nothing recent. I won’t elaborate as to the specifics of that, we want to speak with the family members and other loved ones of these two persons to ascertain if there are any … issues which need to be considered.”
