NAB is launching a new campaign which will sees its logo changed to 'JAB' in an effort to encourage Aussies to come forward for vaccination.

“Every jab is a shot in the arm to business owners doing takeaway only, pivoting to digital and doing everything they can to keep everyone on the payroll.”

NAB boss Ross McEwan told the House Standing Committee on Economics the country needed to develop a system the population could shift to that would help Australians live with COVID-19 once the 80 per cent vaccine threshold was reached,He pointed to the use of vaccine passports overseas as a means of offering greater freedoms, arguing Australia needed should implement a similar plan.

“European countries have provided this by implementing a vaccine pass, which gives people freedom to attend restaurants, sporting events, major concerts and domestic travel,” Mr McEwan said. “Australia needs its own national vaccine pass, providing similar freedoms, ready to launch when we reach 80 per cent.
