Spectators watch as the Artemis I unmanned lunar rocket lifts off from launch pad 39B at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida During the three-week flight, the rocket will propel an empty crew capsule into a wide orbit around the moon before the capsule returns to Earth and lands in the Pacific in December.
