The Moira Anderson Foundation won the community category at the annual Self-Management awards run by the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland for their Positive Steps support initiative.
A Lanarkshire charity was honoured at a national awards ceremony for the success of a project supporting people with long-term health conditions as a result of past trauma.

“The majority of referrals are from our client support team and therapists; external referrals are also welcome and clients already receiving support for issues around childhood sexual abuse can be referred directly by their supporting organisation.”
