The national broadcaster acts as if “a billion dollar a year public institution shouldn’t be accountable” and engages in 'self-absorption,' says Sky News host Chris Kenny.

The national broadcaster acts as if “a billion dollar a year public institution shouldn’t be accountable” and engages in "self-absorption," says Sky News host Chris Kenny. Mr Kenny said, “there is no one so obsessed with the ABC, as the ABC”.

He said even when their hosts, such as Kerry O'Brien and Barrie Cassidy “leave to live off their ABC retirement deals” the national broadcaster “brings them back to do more for the ABC”. Mr Kenny said those at the ABC, like presenter Paul Barry, seem “to think the only access to information” which can be utilised “is through the ABC”.
