Mr Morrison said seven of eight states and territories have agreed to a roadmap out of the closed border system.
"I need to encourage everyone that we need to look just beyond not just the 'now'," Mr Morrison said.Airline staff walk past empty baggage carousels at the Sydney Domestic Airport Terminal arrivals area.The national cabinet has agreed to raise the intake of Australians re-entering the country from overseas.
He said the federal transport minister will be considering having more international flights coming into Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, Canberra, and even Tasmania."And we need to do that safely as well, and not compromise the quarantine arrangements we have here as well."The National Cabinet has not set in stone a definition of a coronavirus "hotspot".
