National Cabinet could lift coronavirus restrictions next week

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says National Cabinet will bring forward a key meeting to discuss when to relax Australia's coronavirus restrictions.

Mr Morrison said Australians had "earned an early mark" and leaders would meet next Friday to consider easing the rules that have been put in place."That decision will now be made next Friday, and we'll be meeting twice over the course of the next week to ensure that we work through the many things that have to be resolved in order to make those decisions."
