For the second year in a row, the University of San Diego women’s volleyball team has turned to the Big Ten to find its next setter.
The Toreros can only hope their latest Big Ten addition is as successful as last year’s. Gabby Blossom transferred from Penn State, led the Toreros to a 31-2 record and became only the second USD player to earn first team All-American honors. Evans said Nebraska “didn’t exactly have what I was looking for academically. Academics are really important to me. I wanted a place where I could pursue the degree I wanted to go into.”
