Screen Rant presents an exclusive clip from this week's NationalTreasureEdgeofHistory, in which Lisette Olivera's Jess fights with Oren:
Screen Rant is excited to present an exclusive clip from the eighth episode of National Treasure: Edge of History, "Family Tree." Set in the same world that has treasure maps on the back of the Declaration of Independence National Treasure: Edge of History follows Jess , a brilliant puzzle solver who dreams of becoming an FBI agent. However, when she meets former FBI Agent Peter Sadusky, everything she thought she knew about her family changes.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Jess is joined by her friends as they race against the rich and powerful Billie , a ruthless antiquities dealer who has a personal stake in finding the treasure. In the seventh episode, "Point Of No Return," Jess and her friends follow the clues to Mexico, which has a massive impact on her life given she was a DACA resident in the United States, and discover that her long-dead father is actually alive.
Jess and her friends have shown an impressive ability to solve puzzles, fool Billie, and get themselves out of tricky situations. After she made a real enemy of Billie, she, her friends, and her father are in serious danger, but a prison break in a foreign country could prove to be their most difficult puzzle yet. Jess is also grappling with the fact that her father has been alive her entire life but chose not to contact her or her mother, letting them believe he had died in a fire.
While Tasha, Ethan, and Oren have been hesitant to follow Jess' plans before, they've eventually supported and assisted her, even at great risk to their own safety. However, her scheme may be a step too far for Oren in the new episode of National Treasure: Edge of History. Jess' panic and need to quickly find a solution are understandable, especially since Billie has proven she will do anything to find the treasure, including lying, stealing, kidnapping, and even killing.
