The Nationals have announced Queanbeyan-Palerang Deputy Mayor Trevor Hicks as its candidate to run in the Eden Monaro by-election.
NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro said the Nationals had an "opportunity at this by-election" to give voters "an option beyond the Liberals and Labor".
"This is an important by-election and for those voters who put a one beside the Nationals can guarantee someone who will represent their interests in parliament," Nationals Leader Michael McCormack said. "If you vote for Trevor Hicks you will get a rural representative who knows and understands the people." Image: News Corp Australia
