This is of critical significance to Australia and is partly why Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, Richard Marles attended the conference and met with leading players, including President Zelensky of Ukraine. Understanding this, a good friend of mine in the British Labour Party said that all the arsenals of Europe could not match the American contribution to Ukraine in terms of scale and sophistication.
