After missing nearly 2 1/2 years because of injuries, Klay Thompson was back on the basketball court on Sunday night, and it wasn’t just the Warriors and their fans who were celebrating #KlayDay.
Thompson’s teammates arrived at Chase Center for their game against the Cavaliers wearing Thompson’s No. 11 jersey, and the fans who showed up early announced Thompson’s arrival for pregame shootaround with a rousing ovation. It didn’t take long for current players and some NBA royalty to welcome Thompson back via social media.
