'We demand change. Sick of it!'
The Magic-Bucks contest were the first of three scheduled games on Wednesday and as news of the boycott began, other teams quickly joined the protest.
The unrest had been bubbling over US sports in recent days. Numerous high profile athletes had made their shock and horror at recent police violence known. "Kenosha Wisconsin, Milwaukee Bucks. They can say all they want as players but the action right now has been told by not coming out on court," Jackson said.
"There have been concerted efforts by athletes at various times, but never anything that is comparable to this.
