A few thunderstorms have moved across parts of North Texas today. Additional storms are possible overnight. Some storms could be severe with strong winds and large hail.
Thursday and Friday will not be as hot as recent days with highs mostly in the lower 90s. There will be a continued chance of spotty storms into Friday, but much of the time will be dry. The heat will return this weekend into next week with highs in the upper 90s to low 100s with enough humidity to push the heat index to around 110.: Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of thunderstorms late.
