"I know … she did nothing to contribute … she wasn't a drunk person making stupid decisions, that's not her," she said.Earlier, the court had heard that in one of Ms O'Shea's initial statements to police, she had concluded Elly was attacked by an unknown person intending to rape her, who then fled in a panic when Elly asphyxiated.
She said she and her friends followed later and saw Ms Warren at the bar at about 11pm that night. That was the last time they saw her alive.
